Soak them suckerz in BLEACH!!!!! :headbang: :headbang:

Try this with a sacrificial Cu cent. You'll be amazed at the result (I'm sure it won't be the result you are looking for).

i changed my mind i think its best not to clean any coin.

A 21-S isn't worth a terribly large sum of money. Still, don't clean it cause you may regret it afterwards.

2 Tbs of lemon/lime juice and 1 Tps of salt. Mix it up and drop an old dirty cent in there and stir it around for about 1 min. Take it out and wipe it off :hello2:

Personally I wouldn't clean it but i have used silver jewelry cleaning wipes on pennies and it really brought the shine out but the coin lost it's color.

Don't clean it. And ignore idjits that tell you to use bleach. I'm just sayin.

A Penny can't be cleaned to look like new. It just wont work. If it don't have gum or something else on it, don't clean it.

The most you should do is give it a rinse in acetone - pure, proofed acetone, not nail polish remover - to remove oil or other organic gunk. Even that is controversial. Don't clean coins.

Heat some hydrogen peroxide in the microwave for about a min, without the coin of course, then let it soak for a bit. Periodically take it out, few minutes or so, and roll a q-tip with some of the peroxide on it to remove the dirt. keep going as needed.

I use this method for all my dug coppers and it removes the dirt very well.

rinse with water when satisfied.

this being said, your CRH find may have something other than dirt on it, so it may not work for you.

good luck
