hey guys. haven't posted here in awhile because i hadn't been hunting till now.

after about 15 yrs of detecting, I started to get burned out on it and the places to hunt were getting thin. I decided to start back since all the timber cutting has been revealing old house sites. I ordered me a new teknetics omega and got it yesterday. took it to a virgin site this morning for a couple hours and the omega seems to do pretty good. I've always used analog detectors, so it was a change for me. I did find some old brass and a butterfly broach, a 44 wheatie, and what looks to be an old iron toy hatchet. well, here's some pics guys. thanks and hh!

From your pic I swear that 44 wheat looks like its steel, did you check it? Nice work, nice finds.

yeah, it's a 44. maybe just the water and light making it look like that. thanks though!
