Looks great! Although I think it says 25th anniversary. These machines still make great finds and are more relaxing to hunt with in my opinion.

Nice looking machine, congrats! :occasion14:

Ok confused :icon_scratch:Yeah I looked at the 25th Anniversary and was going to respond on that but thought Tesoro been around for 36years, and the 25+year Anniversary is that when Vaquero first came out?

Nice. I recently picked up a black Vaquero but unfortunately it's going to have to go up for sale soon. Light and comfortable to use. I'm still learning what's what with it. Have you figured out the pinpoint yet? That's the only thing I'm not too sure about but being new to MD it's more than likely a simple thing that I'm just not seeing. Probably pick another one up down the road.

Great shape. Congratulations.

Unlike my Fishers, the Vaq has to be moving to detect. When using the pinpointer, it puts it into all metal, but you have to keep moving. Some create an X and try to find the strongest signal. Whereas a Fisher like my F75, you can stop moving and it will still be going off and you can slowly move around until you find the loudest signal.
