Well I made two threads already on the "What Is It?" board. I've been procrastinating when it came to getting to my formal introduction...so here it goes! I'm 22 years old and live in North-Eastern NJ. I've had a "coin collection" ever since I was small. My family would throw me Canadian pennies and wheaties to put in my little box. My very first coin, which I still have, was actually given to me at birth by a priest. It's a 1892 Morgan silver dollar...a little rough around the edges. I tried metal detecting as I grew up, but I never really found anything. It was only recently that I bought myself a beginner detector (Bounty Hunter Tracker IV). I found my first Mercury dime with this, along with a few silver Rosies.
I've decided to start collecting junk silver where ever I run into it. I'm also interested in anything old, collectible, valuable, or unusual. A little bit of everything I guess. So, that's me! I hope to have a great time here!
