Hi, always looking in PA!

Hi! I am new to the site. I am an occasional detector - mostly in my own yard...lol! No great detecting finds, mostly random coins and rings with a few strange unknowns, but I also like to treasure hunt at flea markets, yard sales and really anywhere. I grew up finding arrowheads and quartz crystals in my local cornfields, and uncovering old bottle dumps on back roads. I guess that cemented the idea that there are neat things to be found all around us. Actually, I have found several neat things underground over the years without metal detecting. One was a cast iron, toy soldier that I dug up while just playing in the dirt as a child! I found a small unbroken, frozen Charlotte doll while digging a garden, and tripped over the tip of a buried antique solid iron iron while hiking. Numerous utensils and a small jar of marbles were unearthed while gardening.

I am hoping to connect with like-minded 'seekers', share some stories and maybe gets some identifications!
