Buy a Garrett 250

Buy Garrett Ace 250. You can't go wrong with it. I like mine a lot! You can go close to
your limit and get the regular coil that comes with it and the big coil. Kellyco packages it
together for less than 3 bills, plus they throw in bunch of other stuff with it.
Keep us posted.

How does the 250 do for nugget hunting? And how well would it do in the nevada desert soil? I'm looking for a decent machine also, and am limited on my finances. I've been sitting on the fence for awhile, bout time to bite the bullet!

Hi Al,

Is Utha near UTAH?

;D :o ::) Just me being me, sorry. Welcome.

Where in Utah do you live? I am in Cedar Hills, right at the mouth of American Fork Canyon. If you ever want to see a Minelab x-terra70 in action let me know. They are more in the $500 to $550 range used. The garrett detectors are the best for the price starting out like others have mentioned. It is good to know another Utah treasure hunter that plays golf, most don't. Hopfully we can meet up and hunt a park or 2 before the snow really starts flying....Ryan
