Dang! What did you do to that thing!? Looks like you were using it as a digger too!:laughing7:

I have an old machine but every time I hit a rock or a stump I cringe....Just waiting for it to happen one day.

If you didn't Drive over it or something it May be a Quality Control Issue.

I Had an X-Terra I gave to My Nephew .
And the same thing Happened.
It just cracked off.

I checked online back then & found More Complaints.

I even found someone selling Replacement Ears.

I appreciate it jeff very much. Do you think it’s covered under warranty?

Probably Not, But if your Warranty is Good.
Won't hurt to Ask.

That’s hard core detecting. Good luck on the fix.

Prepare to give them your credit card number. My machines look beat up but they haven't failed. Had a new coil wire bad out of the box once, that's all. I've noticed more than one manufacturer uses very lightweight plastic on their shafts. This is bound to happen.

Sorry about your coil problem Truth. What did you swing up against? Here's hoping you can have this addressed soon and get back at it. But next time........be more careful. Lol Best of luck to you man.

It's covered by warranty, just contact Minelab.

I just set it down with my arm in the cuff and I felt it give. Now I know I’m 240lbs of raw steel but come on. :)

Minelab said mail it in no problem under warranty. Thanks jeff for all the helpful fix tips and equinox warranty help.
