Did my usual bank hopping today. Skunked on halves. Not much to show for pennies. But at my last bank, I noticed 4 very old looking rolls of nickels just sitting there by the teller's tray, so I asked to buy them of course, and lo and behold, I got 17 war nickels! The oldest coin was a 1939 Jeffie and the youngest was a 1959. Nothing but pre-1960 nickels. Finding those war nickels really made up for the dismal halves and pennies.
Thanks for reading, and happy hunting, all.
