It was above freezing today so I decided to go find a spot to hunt. Stopped at a ball park & started swinging the coil. I found $1.16 in clad & a silver butterfly ear ring. Just about ready to leave & I swung the coil over the end of the warning track which is cinders. I got a solid dime signal & it sounded like it was right on top, so I scraped the top inch with off with my screwdriver and saw what I thought was a clad penny. Picked it up and dusted it off, My first barber 1915 s in great shape. This park has been hunted for 40+ years, I don't know if the dime was brought in with the cinders or it has just been waiting there for me and the MXT.
