Hit a New Silver Streak Record

Hey folks,

Got out for a while with my brother this afternoon. It’s about to rain like mad here so it was the last chance for some enjoyable detecting for a while.

We each found silver which was great. The 1926 Merc stretched my streak to 7 straights hunts with silver, a new record! Hopefully I can keep it going in my next hunt, whenever that might be.

Haha thanks DNV. These are pretty par for the course. These are from a lawn. I imagine it’s been fertilized over the years so that probably doesn’t help but you’re right, most of the copper here gets eaten badly unless you’re lucky enough to find it in sandy soil which we don’t have much of.

...and a pretty piece of silver at that! Great looking Lady! The patina on the wheaties is beautiful! I love that green! It reminds me of the patina from Culpepr, VA relics!
