Hit a spot in Ohio on the way home...

On the way home from work, was in Ohio today and pass this ball field every day! Had about an hour and a half to play and ended up finding 6 wheat cents(1914, 1917-D, 1937(2), 194?, and another in the 50's). I also dug 11 memorial cents, a nickel, dime and two quarters. I did dig a Merc too(1942) about four inches deep. The dog tag is 1926, and the most interesting find is the tag?? It states :Made and Sealed Ohio" and on the back it fives the #21 and the County!!

Thats an Ohio Agricultural Test seal. Seen these before but don't remember which forum. Similar to what they put on gas pumps. No idea on age though.

Congrats on the "drive-by" hunting! Glad ya found some time to fit in some hunting time!

I have found two of those Ohio tags, one had a county stamped on the back, the other was blank on the back, cool finds!

That's some neat stuff. I found a dog tag from the 20s exactly like that one a while ago. Pretty cool token too.

when I give metal detecting talks. I even have some rubber ones from WWII. Didn't find them, mother-in-law
gave them to me for my collection,
