hunted a new spot today and found a 1950 wheatie, 1962 rosie, 5 lincolns, 2 modern dimes and then found a copper lid with a really cool Egyptian looking design on it. i have no idea as to what the lid might have gone to but i'm gonna keep it

One possibility is a custom lid for a chewing snoose container. There are custom lids out there for the die-hard dippers. It looks about the right size.

Interesting find. Was the lid in the same location as the coins?

I was thinking that it looks like the lid to a makeup compact. :icon_scratch:
What does the underside look like?
