Hit the 1820's in a big way!!!! Plus 1922 NO D wheatie!!!!

Well I finally had an outing that seemed worthy of
this great forum. Been lurking for years lol. Went to an old home site with the original cabin still
standing from 1820. Right away was pulling up great buttons 2 US Great Coat buttons from 1820-1830,
One with great gilt still on it too, then Lewis & Tomes button no later than 1831, a great dragoon cuff button, Scovills
Infantry button. But then I got my first Large cent an 1829 which is old for my area. Then another first a shield nickel
but no date... Also a 1916 S Buffalo, 1906 Indian, 1914D Barber Dime, 1912D wheat, 1944 Washington, and a great
sterling ring as well. What a Hot spot!

oh man that '22 is awesome!! congrats!

All great finds!! Nice 22 wheat.

All of your finds are terrific Joshc5, but that 1922 plain wheat is simply spectacular. The only Lincoln cent I treasure more than that one is the 1909-s VDB. I never have thought finding either one would be a possibility. Congratulations and welcome to the forum. Don't be shy about posting your "lesser" recoveries either!

They say go big or go home, Way to go big!! :occasion14:

WELL! So much for my hunt! ;)

LOL

This forum can be very intimidating. But, you'll find any finds are welcomed here. Don't wait so long next time!

Excellent finds!

That's definitely an oldie...1829 Large Cent.

Nice finds for sure!
My finds aren't worth posting, but that's not why I haven't posted them! Lol!

Congratulations on an awesome hunt. That is a really nice haul of coins. A lot of diversity in coinage!

That's a nice looking ring there also......good hunt!

Thanks everyone! The 1922D was a once in a lifetime find! Can't wait to hunt some more.

Nice ones, i think the 1912-D wheat cent is semi key...Nice..

This is a spectacular hunt - Outstanding finds with a lot of variety !

Great finds! Your ETrac is good at sniffing them out.
