hittin dimes hard- maybe NOT

So I planned on hitting dimes hard this week(min 20boxes but trying to do 30+) to see if I could break the skunk streak well its not going so well as all the banks I used to be able to get 1-2 boxes either started charging or said they no longer carry larger quantities on hand- so far got 5 yesterday and 4 today from probably 15 total banks- all skunks
Ill head a little further out tomorrow just to see if other banks ive hit before have any on hand if not dimes will become a thing of the past for me :-(

I've gave dimes a serious go a few times. 50 skunks out of 55 total boxes, and thats not including the times I received boxes of all new coins. I tried only CWRs and found 1 lone '64 out of $1500 or so. I wanted it to work out, but it just didn't.

Wow. Dimes I search are good for one silver each $250-$350 searched. Sorry it didn't work out for you!

Russel, dimes are my favorite coin to search but it's never worked out to well for me to do high volume. I've really only got one bank that I can just drop in and grab a box or two. The rest I've got to order ahead. Also only certain banks routinely produce silver in dime boxes. Other banks it's just skunk after skunk. I like to recycle my dimes. Search a box and then wrap them for trade to another bank for cwr. They often produce well for me.
