Hoe blade

Found this yesterday at a possible Colonial home site. It looks very similar to a couple of Colonial era hoes that I have seen pictures of. Any ideas as to how old it might be?

Good find. It looks to be a grub hoe. Hard to date because they were used so long but looks old enough. Anything else found nearby to give it a rough age? Was it very deep?

I think it was 3 or 4 inches deep. I found a small buckle on the road running next to the ste that I have been told dates to the 17th century.
