Been lurking for a while & decided to join the community.
I’m a long time rock hound that has recently gotten into panning a little bit & I found this place through looking for info on gold prospecting.
I’m fairly new at the art & was asked to go to a claim to help work it. The guy said he had a patented claim near Fairplay, CO on NFS land but he was waiting to receive his quit claim deed. I went on to make a few purchases in order to prepare for the adventure & after 2 months the guy came by & acted like we were dating & called it off.
Life goes on... yada yada yada...
Now I’m hoping I can find a place to use the high banker I’ve picked up.
I’m in the 4 corners region & have a few creeks to prospect but I think I’m fairly limited to where I can use it due to most everything being claimed up.
I guess I better learn how to use mylandmatters & LR2000 if I wanna stay outa Dutch.
Also, any info regarding Animas River, La Plata River, Mancos Creek, San Miguel River & Dolores River gold would be helpful to me as they’re in my back yard.
