It was cold as heck out there, but it's better then rain.
I biked to a park that I snagged a sterling silver cocktail ring late last month, but detected in a different part of the park. Had some interesting results.
So, some finds are head scratchers. Any idea what some of these are? Especially the ones showing another angle of the objects in photo attached.
Hilites: Toonie, Loonie, Old-fashioned brass water tap (quite heavy).

It's so nice to get back out there!

Cheers

Well, I'm pretty sure one of the mystery items is a key. (You're welcome!) :laughing7:
I don't know what that brass thingy is, but it's pretty cool looking!
Congrats on the finds!

Item in the lower left that looks vaguely like a space ship is probably from an old flat-iron

On second look I see no attachment screw holes. Could there have been threaded studs on the back?

hmm. Actually there's only the middle slot. No holes anywhere. They just look like they're through.
It's weird I found it in a park. But then again, half the junk I find has now reason being there until you find it there lol

I'm thinking it's a decorative piece off of an older machine or vehicle maybe? Something in the center holds it in place and possibly active. No idea how old it is though.

Yeah it's possible that threaded screws broke off. That would remind me of a some kind of switch plate then...

Top left looks a little like a lamp hood for a lightbulb socket.

The round aluminum piece with two holes looks to be the end of a 4' florescent light bulb.
