37 degrees and I took a chance at a random spot I saw and thought I'd try. First hole I dug on a hill only one inch down. Goes to show never judge by depth. 0101161857_0001.webp0101161857.webp I know it's some type of large cent. The chin is even with a "c" and there is a "T" after. It matches up with a 1788 Connecticut. Does anyone agree or am I wistful thinking. Not good shape but man it is an awesome find for me. I can't read anything on the back.

Was able to clean it more and yes it's a 1788 Connecticut
