Horn? Anemone?

Recently while cracking through some sea rock looking for shark teeth, I came across something a bit bigger than expected. It's pretty neat, but I have no idea what it really is. The only thing I can think of is either a sea anemone or some type of horn. The fat end looks broken off and crystallized, while the smaller tip has very defined ridges. Anyone have a better idea of what this might be? Click on the photos below to see the large version.

Yes, a real nice specimen of Horn Coral! I would slice a thin piece off that big end so you can see the beautiful pattern.
