Horstmann and Company..New permission

So today I stopped by this house i have had my eye on for a few weeks.
Seen the owner in the drive way and thought it was the perfect opportunity..
I drove up got out of my truck and gave the guy my spiel...
The first thing he says is what most people say.. (what are you hoping to find)
And i said what i always say..Buttons,Buckles,maybe a few coins..
I told him i found lots of stuff in the area.
Like eagle buttons from the civil war.
Well here is when it gets interesting,,
He tells me his Great Great Granddaddy is Horstmann..And this was his House!!!!
Well i told him i have lots of his buttons..
From the mid 1800s..To the ww1 ones..
Told him his grandpappy was a big deal in the metal detecting community...
So needless to say I have permission...
Told him i would be there this weekend..
Will see what i find...Just going to be cool to hunt....

Only you George, reminds me of the time the owner/Pastor told you he was waiting for a metal detectorist to come and ask to detect his place. And that other place said the team of archeologist were coming in Oct. and they were going to get back in touch with you? Remember?
