I've been detecting for years. Relic, coinshooting, jewelry, beach, turf, everything. Found silver from the 1600s, 1700s, 1800s, and 1900s of all types. Found gold and gold and gold. But NEVER a silver Washington. Until today. Finally bagged a first, hah.
HH and enjoy this warm spell!

Many coins! a good place

It's always nice to check one off the list. Silvers are hard to come by at many of the schools near me (30 mile radius). Which detector were you swinging and what size coil?

Nice find! I really love the picture on the bottom, very beautiful!
Merry Christmas!

Congrats! I'm a quarter hoarder and especially love those SILVER ones! Yes, they are hard to come by, I'm averaging about 3 a year...it must have been a surprise...those are the best..way to go on a great hunt...ddf

Very true loco!
Had the deus with the 9" Coil running a park program with react 2, silencer 1, 86 gb 83 sens, audio response 4, 18khz, 0-40 notch 2 discrim, full tones and so forth. A program for trashy parks that sounds off great on round objects 5" and less. This one was a hair over 8 at a 45 degree angle. A nice whisper, easily identifiable.

I'll have the deus 9 and 11 and the v3i all day tomorrow to swing

Congrats, I'm glad you found a bucket lister of yours.

Always a good time out when you find a bucket lister. Congratulations on the Silver Washington.

Congrats on a nice Washington....:icon_thumleft:

Congrats on your first silver Washington. I hope that opened the flood gates for you.

Congrats on that first Washington!! Hard to believe a Washington could hide from you for so long.

Yea those things are rare...I always thought I would find more but they just don't pot up at the parks. Found way more 100 year old coins then silver Georges...
