Thats a nice pile of goods! Congrats. jgas

Not bad, not bad at all. Is the one by the NY just a back? If so it would be interesting to know what kind of button as it is a different (odd) backmark.

Some real nice digs :icon_thumright:

Awesome buttons! I've been searching high and low for any military button and just cant seem to pop one out. Nice copper too! I was looking at a website on locks a couple weeks back and I'm pretty sure your lock dates back to the mid 1800's. I'm no expert, but thats what it looks like to me.

the back of the button is missing the shank but reads waterbury button co extra

Definitely a trigger guard. You are on to a hot site! That is a desireable gutter back buckle. Nice saves and Congrats!
