My hunting buddy found this in a wash out where we have been poking around a construction site that is rich in history. I found a point there several weeks ago and he saw this one right where I had looked the day before. Go figure....It looks like a Hernando, she is a beaut!

Nice find. Looks like candy!

Yep, Hernando & translucent. Very nice. Construction sites have been very good to me as well.

With all of this Elsa rain we are gonna get, maybe a few more will wash out.....I better get there before him lol.

Definitely a Hernando, every hunt I go on I always know I miss some; thinking I should've went this way instead of that way, ect...(I think a majority of us think that)

pretty nice, keep an eye on that location in the upcoming storm.

....I would trade every arrowhead I picked up for every one I walked over.....

Here is a pic showing the translucence....possibly agatized coral....any thoughts on that?

You're right on. Hernando's were always made out of nice material that knapped out very thin. Skilled work to make one.
