How do you dump your clad halves?

Just as the title says, how to you cash em' in? Do you just throw them in the coin counter or do you re roll and give them back to the bank? I realize that this could be a stupid question, but I was just wondering whether the coin machines will take 1000 halves . I use coinstar btw. (no fee since I am a member of my local bank)

No coin-counters for halves in my city....

Bag them up in $500 Coinlocks, drop them off at bank, & exchange for cash. Dumping has become a non-issue for me, took 7 months for it to happen but it did. Easiest way imo

my bank coin machine only has a singla half dollar bag that holds 100 dollars... talk about getting the bag changed enough for one 500$ box
