For anyone who cares lol. I worked hard last year to keep track of my finds. And they still sit in a notebook lol. I didnt keep running totals. I am terrible at keeping records. Needless to say i still havent totaled up all my finds from last year. So this year i have devised a system. I havent got to search much this year up until the past 6 weeks or so and am way behind from what I was finding last year. Anyway so heres what i have been doing.
Any finds go into a box. Once I find time i go through the box and report all my finds in notepad and then back them up into a folder in my email(incase my computer was to crash). I do running totals and report each year. I will post my list at the bottom for anyone that is interested.
*You will notice that I save back 59, 59d, and the S mint coppers. This is strictly a choice of mine to save them back as i am working to complete rolls of each year.
Hopefully i will continue to keep track so i will have a record at the end of the year. I know alot of people like to keep track of the amounts searched and such. the main reason i dont is it would be skewed as i find alot of stuff at work(cashier). Anyway maybe this will help with trying to devise your own system for keeping track.
