I'm looking at that pic, and nobody in the water has their arms out. Everyone is clutching them onto their sides or wrapping them around their chests. Nobody on the shore looks happy either. In fact, no one at all looks to be enjoying themselves. If there where thought-bubbles drawn-in, they would all be saying, "Yay."

Looks like a cold, windy, and dreary day. I'm surprised any of them are in the water! Obviously no beach grooming machines back then! Look at all that seaweed.
