Almost ten pounds is the answer. (and about three weeks hunting) Not shown is another quarter and 4 dimes for a total of 14 silver, toasted indian, v-nik, buffs recently dropped and a cool love token. Love token came from an old park less than two inches and that is why you see all the twist-off caps in box. Found 14 wheats and two other silver at less than two inches in same area.

Excellent bunch of silvers you found there Seatedhalf  I've never saved all my trash, it usually goes in the nearest trashcan, I do save my copper, brass and aluminum. Today I only dug 5 or 6 pulltabs, 2 silver dimes and a memorial in a super hammered spot. I also dug a bronze ground lug and old garden hose end but that goes in the scrap too so I don't consider it trash.

Good to see you hear again. Love the love token. looks like a good shot in the jewelry category this month! WTG!

10 lbs? I have never actually weighed my trash but my guess is your right on the money. Non-metal detectorists do not even begin to think about all the trash we clear from the ground - I'm glad you showed it - if we are unsuccessful in finding treasure we are most certainly successfuly in clearing the "land fill". Great piece of work recovering 14 silvers! I came across a 1877 seated and a "toasted" IHP just last week. As far as the love token-those are just amazing to me. The history, and of course the story that goes along with it really makes me think about that particular object and the two involved. Way to Go. Still cant believe you weighed your trash-bet the wife is happy it will go into the recycle bin:laughing9:

Standing Liberty, Seated Liberty, Mercs, Roosevelts, Buffalos, IH and a Love Token.....simply out outstanding!!! :headbang:

You sure earned that sliver digging all that trash, way to go seated half... Congrats I wonder if my luck would change if I changed my name to sliver dollar:laughing7:.
