How much is it worth?

Finally found a two-headed half, after more than three years of searching. Anyone have any idea how much if anything it's worth? I've got a buddy who wants one bad...

Silver finds haven't been too bad this year - better than last year, actually.

No doubt an interesting find; a magician's 2-headed half dollar. They sell for about $10 and up.

Can you tell from the edges if it's one or not? I don't wanna miss one.

I don't think there's anyway of finding them by just edge checking. I've only found two of them over the years myself - one is a double sided obverse ('70's or early '80's date I forget exactly) and the other is a double sided reverse. I'm sure I've missed other magician's halves and no FG's by just edge checking. If u wanna find em you just have to take the time to look at more than just the edges.

Actually im sorry, I dont have 30+ double headers, maybe those are more rare and worth more... i have 30+ magicians coins, some might be double header, i just keep them in a dresser drawer, never really did anything with them.

Chillydog u cant spot them by rim checking... you can hear them(it sounds like a poker chip, and not metal cause its hollowed out). Also my dump coin machines reject them, as the weight is off...
