How much is this Kerr Revolver worth?

Hey I could really use some help. I just got this Kerr Revolver S/N 1618. It is in rough shape as you can see but I am trying to figure out what it is worth. I have had two offers to buy it so far. One at 750.00 and one at 850.00. I don't know what one in this shape is worth so I thought I would come to you guys for help. The revolver is in pretty rough condition. The loading arm is missing as is the center pin. The screw for the hammer has been replaced. The cylinder rotates freely and there is a crack in the grip. Hopefully some of you experts can help. Oh and it is missing the JS and Anchor marking.

Thanks for steering this person in the right direction as to the value of his Kerr Revolver. With a little research the serial number might be traced to one of the several lots that were run in to a Southern port via the blockade runners. The owner has a fairly valuable piece, and sometimes prospective buyers get a little greedy.
