A trick we used in restaurants was to use crushed ice and salt and swirl it around until it is clean.

To get mineral deposits like rust & hard water stains off of glass I have used vinegar and uncooked rice, just make to rinse well before long term storage. The acid can etch the glass if left long term.

Let them sit at room temp for a few weeks to stabilize. I once dig almost a full set of drinking glasses and when I went to rinse them off, many of them cracked:/

I use my heat gun to bend old tooth brushes into different shapes to clean bottles. The heat gun is one used to heat up floor tile glue. Matter of seconds the plastic can be molded into any shape.

if need a longer cleaner I use a small bendable brush used to clean dryer vents.

If I cant get these into the bottle I have used the ice method using a mixture of sand and hot water.

I like the old stains on the bottles so I don't use anything but water.
