I found a foldinf knife about 5" down in an old park. Bone handle and shield emblem on it. Need to know how to clean the rust off.

I have had very good results with a molasses soak. There are many threads on this forum that discuss this method, but basically it's one part molasses to nine parts water. Let the item soak for a few days and the rust will dissolve. Electrolysis is very effective too, but the molasses method requires less set up.
