How well does the 9x12 ace250 coil pinpoint?

How well does the ACE 250 9x12 coil pinpoint. Took me forever to get used to the standard 6.5x9 coil!

I have no trouble pinpointing at all on targets at about 2 inches or deeper , but stuff close to the surface can be tricky ,however if I raise the big coil 3 or 4 inches above the target it does pretty good for me.

How deep does the bigger coil take you.
Got any pictures of stuff you dug after useing the bigger coil?
I imagine it helps greatly if your relic hunting.
