This elk was spotted swimming in Fish lake, in southern Oregon. Really a once in a lifetime opportunity for the photographer.

7 point bull (and we would count the eyeguards on this one ;) ) thats a fourteen pointer for you folks back east.

I'll dump them after they've been up for a few days, to save space, but I figured some of you would really like to see 'em! :)

I'd need to get another freezer, but that looks like a lot of good eatin' there! If I came across him just getting out of the water after a long swim like that I'd probably let him go on account of his being tuckered out and all....and then wind up not seeing another bull for the rest of the season for my trouble.
