How's Mom?
John, a recent Camp Pendelton Marine trainee, being rather lonely and a long ways from home called his brother, Billy-Bob.
"What's happening Bro?"
"Well," Billy-Bob said, "Ole Tom-Cat got on the barn roof the other day."
"Whatcha do? asked John. You go up and rescue him like the all them other times?"
"No. I called the Volunteer Fire Department boys and asked them to bring the new ladder truck. Long story short, Junior Boon, the Fire Captain got ahold of Tom-Cat and Tom-Cat has a hissy-fit and clawed Junior. Well, Junior dropped Tom-Cat from about 35 feet up and Tom-Cat didn't survive the fall."
"Oh darn, exclaimed John, Hows mom doing with all this?"
"Well mom's on the barn roof."
