Hello Hudson Valley History Detectives! This Wednesday, July 18[SUP]th[/SUP], at 6:30pm, we will hold out third monthly meeting at the Porterhouse, in White Plains ::.. PORTER HOUSE ..:: . This month we will sit inside.
We are now officially the “Hudson Valley History Detectives,” and we need a club logo! I encourage all members to submit a design. Keep in mind it must be original, and cannot incorporate any art or photography that is copyrighted.
We will have our FIRST “Perpetual 50/50 Raffle,” at this Wednesday’s meeting! Tickets will be $5.00-each, one per member. The winner will get 50-percent of the pot, and the remaining 50-percent will be ADDED to next month’s pot!
We will discuss the location, day and time of our first hunt as a club, and start to nail down a few HVHD “Responsibility Positions.” As an example, one of the first Responsibility Positions will be holding the Clubs 50/50 proceeds for the next month.
If you have not applied for your New York City Metal Detecting Permit, please do so! Metal Detector Permits : NYC Parks It is FREE. We are going to hunt Some NYC beaches and parks as a group!
As always, get there early for a good parking spot, eat before the meeting if you can, and grab a drink at the bar before you come to the table so we can avoid the “One Tab” debacle! See You on Wednesday! Terry Soloman 914-589-3985
