I checked the Coinstar at the local supermarket on the way home from lunch and it was full of coins. The total was $5.08 in US clad plus a Canadian nickel.

It’s all about timing, and beating store employees to the bin

I'd check there again soon, because it seems that machine is rejecting perfectly good coins! Usually the ones I find are sticky or dirty or damaged, so I understand why they were rejected.

I check this one and a few others 3-4 times per week. My part time job gets me into Walmart and other supermarkets four days a week.
