🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Huge Error On Dime

Does anyone know what this error is, and the dimes value? It’s a 1949 Roosevelt dime, no mint mark.

That's not an error, that's either a fake dime, or if it's a real dime, it has been made into something other than a coin.

It's a little more than half of a two headed dime made by a machinist. The head part for the obverse is obviously missing.

It's a "spy coin" that's missing the back part, used by spies back in the day to hide microfilm and microdots in.

Here's modern day versions for smuggling/hiding micro SD cards, no dimes but from nickels on up to silver dollars.
