Uh, what happened? Did a mountain fall on him? 1000 feet? You Pennsylvanians lie worse than us Texans...

Certainly bones can be fossilized, but at 1000 ft.?

Fossils can happen within 100-200 years, if the conditions are right, so if there was a cave-in
at this coal mine its very possible.
