One of the good thing about living in a larger city Cincinnati; there is almost always a festival going on somewhere during the summer. This just happen to have a festival about 3 weeks ago. After drilling a 1" inch hole in my basement wall for a new outside faucet; I decided to reward myself by hunting.
I hunted the park where the festival had been a few weeks ago.

The proof is in the pudding .. Lots of clad; and an American Idol doll that sings; plus the usual trash.
By the way; it took me almost 90 minutes to drill through the wall. Must be getting old.HH

It is a known fact that here in South Africa, it is cheaper to drill a hole through a coin we have 1cents, 2 cents, 5 cents, 10 cents, 20 cents, 50 cents, R1.00, R2.00 and R5.00 coins, the lower ones up to 50 cents are most useful, you can then use them for washes, the older 2 cents was in fact a pure copper metal.

But in your pic. what amount are the silver looking coins.

Gratz on your finds glad to see someone from my part of town on here

Everytime I see you post you are always finding an abundance amounts of clad. Do you ever stop to think with all the nickels you are digging up if there is ever a gold ring hidden somewhere underneath the ground? :icon_scratch:

Heck nickles havent been gold coins its allways been showing iron or alum. Gahh..
