Hey guys! After two weeks of snow falling, I am out of the house and metal detecitng finally!!!
I met up with Nate(JuJu) and we hunted 4 homes which ranged from 1911-1941. The first house that I hunted with the pro coil was his dad's. Surprisingly Nate had done a good job on keeping the lawn clear of targets. I only got one memorial penny in the lawn. Nate and I then moved to another home across the street and I turned on my pro coil and it sang pennies. I ignored anything shallow and went for the deeper targets. I got half of a friendship token and a 1929 wheat out of the second house!
Nate had not gotten anything old besides clad in the yard. He was amazed to see that the pro coil could get what he could not.
Onto the third house, We only got clad and trash. We dug tons and tons of trash today and it was insane how many trash signals were in the yard. On the fourth house, I dug 2 more wheats, after digging tons of garbage and clad for an hour. The first wheat was in front of the yard and was dated 1956. The Second wheat was in the right side of the yard and it was a 1941 wheat.
Testing out my ability to hear only deep wheat pennies were really hard, but I did it. Usually, I can hear the wheaties because the last couple of yards have had little to no trash. The pro coil did an excellent job at finding the deeper targets and seperating them rom the shallow targets. I knew right off the bat what was a good target and what was a bad target. Most of the time, I dug bad targets at the fourth house, because I was trying to get a buffalo nickle. Nate had gotten 2 buffalo nickles in the yard before, so I tired to get them but failed.
Anyways, Learning the SE with the pro coil was really awesome!
I had tons of fun with Nate and he had fun to!
I hope everyone got out and metal detected.
