I decided to go over a very well hunted local park today for a few hours today. Goes back to the 1880's. It was more or less a reconnaissance hunt. I have never hunt this one knowing its been well hunted. I have seen people mding there lots of times. So anyway just thought I'd go over and see what kind of signals I might get. First off this park was totally void of any high tone signals. nothing in the way of high conductivity.... A few bouncy signals but I was there more or less to explore. Tons of low tones. The only thing I can say is someone is picking this park clean of coins on a regular basis... Here are all of my finds. 003.webp Someone missed this 1958 quarter. 001.webp 002.webp I was thinking if this was missed a Barber quarter could of just of been easily missed ... Also found two 64 pennys.

My point is on this post....... No Park is ever hunted out...

I agree. They may get lean, but hunted out is tough unless it's a REALLY small park.

Silver quarter, way to go!

Nice job, quarters are a big target too.

That's cool you got a piece of silver out of there! There's a old park that's been hit really hard for 30 plus yrs. by my house too, including me for the past 15 yrs. I'm still pulling silver out of that place! Keep going back when you can you'll get good silver out of there. HH.

Helix do you ever sleep? :laughing7: I'm in agreement that no place is ever hunted out. There is a house that had literally hundreds of targets we went to for several weeks.Granted, most of the targets were old nails and junk in between interesting finds but but my point to my mister was that there is still a lot of stuff yet to be found there.

I get some rest here and there. I have been on vacation the past week and this trip has been mostly mding and hunting for bottles. Up north were I live it is all frozen ground. So I wanted to make the most of this trip in the way of hunting before I have to go home back to frozen ground land. Once my trip is over and I am home there wont be many finds to share on Tnet till spring.

Hey Helix!! Nice Quarter and finds!! CONGRATS!! Oh by the way, I see you found my Grizzly Tin!! He He!! GOOD LUCK and GOOD HUNTING!! VERDE!!

Congrats on the silver Q! There are ways of hunting when the ground is frozen, there are ways. HH!

Way to go on that big silver
