Hunted for 2 hours and one decent find today. Sterling Silver

Found this item in an old rock driveway. It says Sterling Silver and then AE. Co. Utica NY The wings weight is 28 g.
It was attached to something. It is 3 inches long. Anyone that knows what this belong to please tell us. Thanks for looking.

I think that yours is a WW II-era bomber crew badge, or wings. Don't know what the holes were for. Maybe they were mounted in a display. Another nice find.
