I have been MDing an old "hunted out" state park beach and finding coins ten inches deep with the AT Pro. I've found lots of old pull tabs at that depth, but, I am finding lots of stuff people with other machines have missed because they are not deep enough. I chose this beach knowing its age and history. I started digging every signal, but now, I am digging mostly the high tones... old copper is coming up high 70s to 80s, silver 90s.
