hunting an old cellar hole

i went metal detecting an old cellar hole the other day with my dad. he was using the whites classic id and found the 1890 IH other floral pattern thing. does anyone know where that would have came from? i was using the whites spectra V3i and found the rest including an old whitehead and hoag pin that say "Paterson"
