Not sure how many kids were at this permission over the years . But I'm guessing it was alot . I dug 31 matchbox cars in about 3 hrs on this lawn . Gave 11 back to the kids that were following me around like a pack of wolves . I'm sure the next time I'm there I will find them all plus some more . I have never hunted a spot with as much trash as there is at this spot . I literally mean piles of trash buried under the sod . Plus the original house burned and was pushed in a pile and buried. I noticed the excavation work as I drove by as they prepared the ground for a new house and stopped to inquire about digging . There are so many high tones I could dig all the rest of the year and not make a dent . Problem is , most of it is junk . I dug almost half of a 5 gallon bucket of junk today, but I was encouraged to keep going by the 2 piece eagle button and tombac I found . After talking to the owner I found out the original house was built in 1802 and just burned last month . There are definite possibilities here but it's going to be a long process.
