Found this interesting button with a picture story on the front. Anyone know what it is and when it was manufactured?

Time frame was 1827-1840. Neat Button!

Yes, it is what button collectors call a Huntsman's button, which is a sub-category of Sportsman buttons. You also asked how old it is. Creskol correctly time-dated it from the time-in-business of its manufacturer, the J.M.L. & W.H. Scovill company of Waterbury CT. That company was in business under that specific name only from 1827 to 1840. (Its name was changed to Scovills & Co. in 1840.) We can narrow down your button's date-range a bit further, because it is what button collectors call a rolled-brass (not solid-cast) "1-piece" button. The thread-loop on the back is not counted as a "piece." That type of button construction fell out of favor in the mid-1830s, so your button was most likely made in the 8-year period from 1827 to 1835.
