Nice finds Jim ! Is Hurley down there near Silver City ? Was camp Cody a scout camp ?

Yes Hurley is just south of silver city, Camp Cody was ww1 training center , I was able Find the camps dump area

Nice finds! :occasion14: Boy, I would work the "camps dump area"! :icon_thumleft:

Glad the permission worked out well for you Jim. Sorry I am no help for the ID of the finds, but you pulled some quality keepers today. :icon_thumright:

Nice finds jim!

Congrats on a good hunt and the Silver.
The pendant might be a material control tag for a specific unit. Just a guess.

Very nice finds. I like that button and tag.

No help with ID but congrats on some nice finds

Your "MINN" button is actually a military collar disc. It is a Type 1 collar disc from the Minnesota Nation Guard, circa: WW1.

Here is some info on collar discs:

That's a really nice find. Congrats sir!

I am stuck on that medal, it says "cav" which makes me think cavalry... perhaps a non standard issue ID tag from the military. I know that by WW1, they were issuing dog tags. Perhaps some better pics would spur on an ID.
