If you read my earlier post, I have not found one nickel since owning my SE (3 months). I asked about what it would sound, show etc on the screen. Well today I found one today while hunting for Civil War Relics "HURRAY and a big HOWDY HOW!!!!". OK, now I think I know what to look for.
I followed the advise that was given and I thank you all. It sounded and showed right where everyone said. In all honesty, I probably missed a few earlier because I thought they showed as trash.
Also found some civil war artillery schrapnel and a cool iron cleaver in a new area. I posted it in todays finds.
This lesson has taught me "when in doubt, dig it!!
