חומות ירושלים sterling paperweight
I saw this today and decided I'll pay the 25 bucks plus tax they had to have for it. It's a paperweight made with a thin I presume sheet of repoussé sterling silver. I did a little online research as I looked around the store and found these tourist items are from the size of a walnut to maybe this one, which is close to the size of a baseball. I only found a couple that sold on eBay and one went for $60.00, but it only weighed 135 grams. This one weighs quite a bit more at 378 grams. Maybe I got a good deal? Only way I'm ever gonna find out if I overpaid on scrap silver is if I cut it up. I probably shouldn't do that huh?
