This morning my wife said "why don't we go detecting somewhere?" You know I jumped at the chance! She has not done any detecting since i bought her the Ace 150 a few years ago. I think she detected the beach for about 10 minutes and got bored. I have not been out since the Spring. We decided to go to a local park and hit a volleyball court and a dirt basketball court. My wife actually found more than I did with my Tesoro although I had my settings up high to weed out the junk. I ended up digging for her cause I had the better shovel. All in all it was a good time and we got to enjoy the outdoors for a change.
My wife found an earring, zipper pull, some 22 LR shells, and 64 cents in clad. She was excited to find something with value.
I found a bicentennial quarter, a 2000 SC quarter, a 1951 Wheat cent, a BFF kids charm and a silver color bead from a bracelet. Not to bad for my first time out in a long time.
